Downtown Denver in 2026 — It's Worth a Second Look

Downtown Denver in 2026 looks different than it did a year ago — and in the best way.

The 16th Street Mall renovation is done — and honestly, it looks great. Cleaner, prettier, more alive. If your last memory of this stretch was construction fencing and detours, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Development is picking up too. Upton is one of the projects worth watching, and Union Station continues to be one of the best urban spaces in the country — the kind of place that reminds you why city living is worth it.

The shopping and culture are there. Lucchese has made its home here, K Contemporary is showing some of the most compelling work in the city, and the restaurant scene gives you plenty of reasons to stay for dinner.

Take a look at what I found on the ground. And stay tuned — there's even more happening in this neighborhood worth talking about soon.

If you're curious about what it looks like to live or own here, let's talk.
